    Viera and Keane.

    THIS is punditry.

Shearer and the rest on BBC are garbage, when Viera and Keane and Neville speak it has real weight about it.

Great rivals on the pitch of course but superb to see them bouncing off each other and with good humour in the studio.

ITV absolutely mullering the BBC with that trio plus Clive Tyldsley and McCoist on commentary.

I suppose we’ll have a rug muncher, Rio who can’t get his massive brain into gear and rent a quote Shearer on the BBC tomorrow night😩

Coleman and many others must be turning in their graves.

It funny how we view things differently. I thought Tyldsley and McCoist were absolutely awful last night. Both just stating the, ‘oh so obvious’. At one point McCoist said about a French player, I think it was Mbappe, ‘he should have hit it first time with his right foot’, which was absolute tosh. The player would have had to have been a contortionist to do that.

I can’t comment on the pundits in the studio as I don’t really bother watching or listening to them. In the main they all talk nonsense so I prefer to go and make a cup of tea.

I heard some comments made by Micah Richards on the France game; how is this bloke ever put on as a pundit, he’s as thick as the proverbial two short planks?

Patrick Vieira's taking over at Palace apparently. Think he'll be leaning on a couple of his former clubs for loan signings given the amount of Palace players who are out of contract. Interesting appointment which could go either way. Certainly got lots to be getting on with.

I agree about Viera and Keane two of the most gifted player's of their generation.
I remember Arsenal beating us 2-0 at the Albion and he was a giant in every sense of the word.
I never liked Keane much, a nasty piece of work, but there's no doubting he was a bloody good midfielder, I think everyone would like those two in their team.
Yes Mick, well worth listening to... when I can get a signal.

There’s only one I listen to on Tennis commentaries and that’s McEnroe. Talks total sense and whenever the typical “talk up the British guy” happens he says it as it is. He’s really grown up from the young petulant tennis player into one of the best pundits on TV. Totally agree with Viera and Keane btw

I do like Keane as a pundit - sharp, intelligent and a devilish sense of dry humour ..... has his biases (United, Celtic in particular) ... but by and large he keeps it even handed .... most entertaining bloke on football punditry by a mile ....
