Thread: Jamie Ness

    Jamie Ness

Jamie Ness is apparently playing for us as a trialist today...usual rubbish about giving him a chance aside, if he sign him I'll be struggling not to press the panic button already.

Edit to add 0-0 at HT.

And FT 0-1. Friendly or not, that’s a concern.

And if 30 year old journeyman and Dundee reject Jamie Ness is our next summer signing then that’s even more of a concern. I’ve said since January that GA deserves to be judged on this summer’s transfer business and the early signs are not good.

From the line-up it was clearly a jog around - but last year we also barely played a 'serious' friendly before the start and it showed at our season opening. It'll be different this time with the LC group obviously but given we want to progress there it's pretty clear work to be done.

Interesting article about Ness here: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...-ness-23932452

You obviously feel for him if he's struggled but there's little to suggest he's suddenly capable of being a top-flight player.

Two different elevens, trialists and a few youths looks like another training session. Just wait until GA unveils a couple of experienced old hands to guide the youngsters (!).

MOTHERWELL TEAM (NEW YOUTH INTAKE MARKED AS Y)

Not commented thus far, but ... I am concerned we can't produce a First 11 to last place ?
