Grist fella how come it's a waste? Viktor gets injured, red carded etc and you're left with one keeper who, could follow the same fate while Viktor was out. You have to cover all eventualities that's why we've always been over run with wingers but, not always played them. Trust you're well on the mend and feeling much better

Maybe a good way to go to have a layer of underbidding for the future……but the big question as ever if will they become good enough, some will some won’t that’s football…..I don’t think wages will be that big to be honest, but no doubt he will be at Matlock on loan soon enough uni we need him…

I'm of the opinion that initially you get 2 of everything, left backs etc then if squad sizes allow you take a chance signing a third to cover the scenario you mention.

Which part of 'goalkeeper is a specialist position' don't you understand.

I would stop sucking the lemons if I were you.

    Typical childish reply but nevertheless

Yes it’s a specialist position so emergency loans are allowed outside of the transfer window, so if we get injuries to our current 2 keepers we could use that route to sign a keeper. No need to have a third keeper on the wage bill.

God forbid one of our two established keepers gets a long term injury and then something happens to the other one. Even for a couple of games, be it an injury or suspension. It seems like a waste until you get in such a scenario, it happens, and then it would of been amateurish having just the one keeper. And aren't emergency loans harder to get now? (I think I heard that or I may have made it up)
