    V Brighton

Got to be 'Changes' this week?
    Out:
    Cash
    Chambers
    Luiz
    Buendia
    Ings

In any case, we need a much improved performance!

Only Cash and Luiz out for me.
Chambers and Iroegbunam are the only two that we have that have played DM successfully, with the latter yet to make a first-team app. Ings deserves the same opportunities afforded to Ollie, i.e. a good run at it.

    Em1

    ???
    Konsa
    Mings
    Digne

    Chambers

    Buendia/Carney
    Ramsey
    McGinn
    Coutinho

    Ings

If I were SG I'd watch how Burnley just walloped Brighton and copy that, can't be any riskier than the current system he's playing which makes us look so disjointed.

I would move Chambers into DM and have Sanson alongside him, Ramsey, Coutinho and Bailey, Ings up top.

SG. Bongo went and made a joke.

Brighton will be smarting and as WVC nailed it we’re disjointed. Not holding out a lot of hope for this one really. SG indicated multiple changes that I think we all agreed were needed but just swaps the forwards like that was the only issue. We’re on a bad run and how he sorts it will set a platform for his career.

According to Rangers fans he played the same system regardless, there's an old clip from Michael Owen doing the rounds saying Klopp did the same and exposed the weaker players to get the right personnel.

Not many changes but noted performances by Cash and Mings, just one number 10 which worked, Sanson looked good when he came on for a very sorry looking Luiz. Another welcome clean sheet for Emi but all all round, a very good solid prrformance.
    Hope restored.

we are never as bad as we (fans) think we are and are never as good as we think we are when we win. We have been inconsistent for the last forty years, we have a club ethos which accepts losing as an option. The big challenge for Gerrard is to turn that ethos around. He hates losing, as much as we fans do, and I think he will eventually turn this juggernaut around. The summer will show whether the owners are serious in their endeavours.
