Tolaji Bola.....where does he fit into Warne's game plan(s)?

A young natural left back, Tojaji is an England youth international, having appeared at under-17 and under-18 levels so, he obviously has talent. He actually played once before at the NYS representing England against Germany.

My main question on this young man is what does Warne intend to do with him? How will he accommodate a natural left back into what appears to be a back three set up?

Obviously he's been brought in not just to cover Mattock but for the future. You would also like to think he will be used and not discarded like Purrington! That for me would suggest a four at the back and our game plan to change. Failing that, is Warne looking to drop either Harding, Wood or Icky? I don't think so, this would therefore mean a back four.

Here's hoping this player can actually be our new 'permanent' left back and be given the time to grow in his role and help the Millers along the way.

To be honest Brin I don’t like a back three unless you’re a good side with a good coach.4-5-1 away,4-4-2 at home but gru will know better than me.

He’ll be work in progress, feature in a few cup games then be ****ed off 😂

I don’t like three at back but we’ve widened pitch for wingbacks 😉

Bola is a 'fit' left back he just needs to get up to the Warne fitness standard! 2-3 weeks by all accounts.

He will prob be like purrington. Play cup games. Be brilliant then sit watching mattock get bowlaxed before watching wiles, Harding, Doris take his place at LB. Sold for 1/2 the price we paid

I hope not or what a waste it will have been for the young man. Warne has been crying out for a 'natural' left back and now he has one so let's see how he uses him.

If Warne doesn’t use him in his correct position then questions will be seriously asked and rightly so
