    Armstrong leaves to Southampton

    for just £9m.
We have just let a lad who scored 28 goals leave for just £9m.
And 40% of that goes to Newcastle.

This is the same club who pays Daniel Ayala £15k a week.
No wonder there was only 10 thousand at Ewood on Sat.
    This is a sinking ship.

There are even some fans out there that believe they will go out and buy someone now to replace him.

This is going to be one long, painful season ahead.

Well done Rovers, you have achieved absolutely nothing with that sale. No debt of any note being serviced.
No investment in the squad. We are now weaker and have taken a big step backwards towards relegation.

I believe its 15 million actually, which is more like the valuation of Armstrong.
A sulky player is worthless to us and we will have around 9 million to hopefully reinvest.

TM said last week, not one penny of this money will be re-invested in the squad.
All we are getting in is loan signings.

they have managed to get around £15m plus add on's which is good for Venkys.
But a complete disaster if you are a associated to Blackburn Rovers in any way shape or form.

We cant even use this money to offer any current player a better deal, so they will all leave aswell as soon as their contracts are up.
    Like Rothwell.

This is a disaster. We cant spend a penny. We haven't got a penny.
And we have just sold our best player, on the cheap.

I wonder why things have gone so massively wrong in the 2 seasons we have been back in the Champ? There was a point a few years ago we where all being sold a massive lie about heading in the right direction again as a club.

I get Covid has hit, but this was going on well before.
It must have been all those signings he made over the past few seasons with the likes of Ayala and Johnson earning £12 and £15k a week.
The lads who are injured most of the time. Crazy decisions being made which have all caught up with them, compounded by Covid.
