    Value of the cups

Really perks everybody up when we get to the quarter (not overachieving, I see that is where we should be in lc) and gives us something to look forward to.

Real lack of moaning where I was on Saturday as well which is encouraging.

    Everybody willing the Dee on.

Hopefully get similar if not more in for live tv game v hibs, very difficult game but I feel we can really get at teams at Dens, 17 corners, very dangerous from set plays, loads of balls into the box, back 4 still a wee bit vulnerable to pace but the keeper makes a huge difference.

But that's two games against teams who will be in and around us and we matched up very well.

There is also a reasonable amount of money to be earned as teams progress through the various rounds of the League Cup.
I remember reading in April 2020 after the shenanigans to keep Brechin City FC in the League Two by ending the Championship, League One and League Two early a chairman of a Non League Football Club complained in the media that this decision could have cost his Club £60,000 by their failure to qualify to play in the League Cup group stages.
I do not know if this sum was solely prize money or whether it also included income from matches played in the group stages of the League Cup.

Why isn't it clear how much money each team gets? Can't find anything other than £20k minimum and £300k for winner. this should be a big target for us.
