    No new signings this window

"If we do a loan deal there is then no room in the squad without leaving somebody out. It's a difficult situation as well with finances." - Bruce

By difficult i think he means Ashley/Charnley aren't willing to invest in the team (as usual)

Looks like Dubravka is out for at least 8 weeks too:

    Spiffing. Just fucking spiffing.

Do you think there's a single team in all 4 leagues that hasn't added at least one player to their squad??

Getting Willock in doesn't improve the team as we had him last year so this doesn't even count as the bare minimum.

If Bruce had a shred of dignity he'd speak out.

    But, as we all know...

It's the same most seasons Ashley bets and hopes we get to the winter window hoping we are not in the relegation zone. If we are he will bring in a couple of loans hoping we stay up.

If Wilson pulls a hammy before the January window we're in trouble. Joelinton and Gayle are nowhere near good enough

I would have liked us to have taken a punt on Nketiah as he could be another Willock. Doesn't look like that is going to happen now though

What with Shelvey and Hayden both injured we're getting dangerously close to being Hendricked.........and it makes me physically sick to see Jeff Hendrick in the team

Oh the joys of supporting NUFC...

I'd say we've gone backwards because we've let players go that could of come on. Carroll - at least he had experience etc.

We're just ****ed, we really are.

Been saying this since Andy Carroll went to Liverpool - WHERE HAS THE MONEY GONE?

The club as made a profit every year more or less whilst other clubs have made losses (just legal under FFP) yet still out spend us in the transfer market and also with wages.

If we are such a well run business I repeat WHERE HAS THE MONEY GONE?

I’ve just seen a large part of it on the BBC news, in dozens of empty department stores across the country.
