I’ve just watched the news and saw a piece on Emma Raducanu who looks to have a great future especially as she’s still only 18 but looking at her background we find out she was born in Toronto Canada, her father is Romanian and her mother is Chinese.
Johanna Konta was born in Sydney Australia, her mother and father were Hungarian.
Greg Rusedski was born in Montreal Canada, his father was Polish/Ukrainian but at least his mother was English.
We should start sending out packages containing fish and chips and flat caps to all the promising tennis players around the world then maybe we’ll have some success.
