    o/t food prices.

    went to Morrisons not sure what to have for dinner. Leg of lamb looked nice , £24. or £9.99/kilo.
    then thought about some haddock beer battered. got 2 500 gram pieces for me and our lass.
    £12/ kilo ffs. fish dearer than lamb.

    Same here. Sirloin $4/lb Lamb (not easy to find) $6/lb Cod/Salmon $9/lb

    What about mutton?

    You can only get it in Irish Stew or Scotch Pies but we used to have it all the time at school.

    Not been at work this week but that looks like an offer price on the lamb normally around £13.50/kg

    Haddock looks about normal price.

    The Haddock was awesome. nearly as good as my amazing batter.

    I do a batter with only 2 ingredients for onion rings. Self raising flour and lager. It’s amazing.

    Don't let anyone see this .
    7oz PLAIN flour
    2oz corn flour
    one teaspoon white wine vinegar.
    tin of cold lager.
    mix to double cream consistency.
    cook at 170 c
