    Betfair, next manager to leave

    Bruces odds 1.09 to 1

Next best odds are Daniel Farke of Norwich at 17.00 to one.

That's a difference of 178 times more in favour of Bruce.

Apparently Bruce took training today as normal. Wish they'd just hurry up and give him the boot

I reckon they're giving him the 1,000th game.

I bloody hope not but the longer this goes on the more likely it is. It would be such a downer to have Bruce in the dugout on such a historic day for the club

They could just have him there as a name to give him his record but with Jones pulling the strings.

That would be the diplomatic way to do it.

Yeh that or i'd be ok with him being in the owners / directors box. He's kept us up for two seasons and if he hadn't done that this takeover might never have happened. I think that's what the new owners are thinking....they're trying to be respectful which i can understand

Just think of it. 1000 games as a manager/coach will be the only record he walks away with after 23 years and 11 clubs.

He might not be done yet! Hodgson is 14 years older than Bruce and only retired last year.....hopefully he'll disappear with his £8 million (!!) pay off and Bruceball will be no more

they have put across an image of being thorough, they may just be waiting until they have a manager agreed to take over and provisionally in place before pulling the plug on Bruce

Could be that yes. I'm hoping they appoint a Director of Football (someone experienced like Rangnick) first before the next permanent manager
