    He's one of our own!

Not sure as Millers fans we are appreciating and applauding enough the progress of Ben Wiles. A Rawmarsh lad who has come through our system, still only 22 yet now seems to be flourishing. Easy for him to be overlooked as we are blessed currently with perhaps some more eyecatching players such Chieo,Ollie and Smudge. However I for one can see an increasingly effective and exciting young midfielder in Ben who I expect to be in the Champiohship next season ,if not with the Millers then with others who will recognise his potential. Yes as a young player he still has a mistake in him, sometimes playing the wrong ball or caught in possession in our own half but this is happening less now as he matures. Going forward he is an exciting runner with the ball, has a great engine and I expect this season more goals and assists.

'He's one of our own' - lets appreciate him whilst we have him.

After Warney took Rathbone off & kept Wiles on with boos from the crowd meant for Warney but players not to know Ben showed his true colours. Last 20 mins of that game he was the man! Since then been the man ever since! He'll keep us in games!

Bloody el gru, for once I absolutely agree with you. From that Fleetwood match when people booed taking Rathbone off when some felt that Wiles should have been taken off, young Wiles has been outstanding, and for me yesterday he was my MOM and both him and Ollie, along with Barlaser are getting a real understanding about them, and at the moment the future looks bright. Young player learning his trade. Some of our fans should hang their heads in shame, the way they have treated the lad.

Couldn’t spot a proper player in a million years.

Hope he keeps improving and improves his mentality. He’ll need to do that.

    A diamond.

The vast majority appreciate what this lad offers and if he keeps on improving it won't be Championship clubs but Premier league clubs ,he is no doubt under the radar.

Yes I’m sure his mentality was an issue when he was being played out of position and nearly burnt the lad out but yes let’s just blame fans eh.
