    Interview with Andy Giddings

Sorry I don't know how to post the link, but there is an interview with our CEO on BBC Radio Sheffield, Andy Giddings, Soundlink.
After listening to that, I think things are worse than what I thought. These owners need to go and take the CEO with them

There's a link on bbs if anyone can go over there and stick it on here .

I've no idea with my new device how to do them .

Well I've listened to the interview and it just confirms my own suspicions .

Basically as far as the owner's are concerned last season , the fourth best in our entire history was a failure .

It was a failure because the club didn't receive any offers for our better players and the style of football under Val was detrimental to offers coming in .

In short it's irrelevant to the owner's how we perform on the field just as long as we've players to sell .

The new CEO says he's not concerned about relegation either .

Well he should be given we've no cash in the business and highly likely to lose £8m in revenue with players worth very little .

Whilst we all appreciate that our best players have to moved on as we've done all our history this is slightly more sinister because success on the field is secondary to what the club is now all about .

Selling players is first and foremost and success on the field a very poor second .

Absolutely straight John Bull with it .

But didn't they say we turned down offers in January?
    Was that a lie?
Also, says we didn't sell Ismael for £2 million?!
    You cannot believe a word

Openly admits the consortium won't be putting any of their own money in to investing in the club and was the reason he took the CEO position .

Totally fine , nothing we didn't know already .

Presumably this should then work the other way too then..... so ....... Why have you taken £750k out of the club's bank account to pay for the club ?

Reckons he wasn't aware of that !!!!

Now you listen to me you thick cnut , don't put any money in .... I don't fecking care

But you don't steal the club's my club's fecking money either you fecking low life thieves ..... Lower than smack dealers .

It’s a shocking interview, another PR disaster. Anyone who is impressed with this new CEO in anyway so far needs to take the blinkers off

    Oh Dear, Oh Dear !!!

Firstly - great interview by Andy Giddings.
And it’s also worth saying a thank you to Khaled for putting himself forward in such difficult times.
We have had CEOs at the club that rarely went near a microphone - especially during rough times.

However …….. there were TWO MAJOR confessions during the interview.

    1)
It’s been suspected for a while that it was the owners that ditched the successful vertical football.
The style that nearly got us into the Premier.
And we have heard it first hand now.
The owners have put the value of individual players BEFORE the success of the club.
That is to say - the owners would rather receive a drip drip drip of say £10 million for such players as Styles - than go forward to receive £100 +++ million for reaching the Premier.
    WOW !!!
    I’m shocked by that statement.
And it very much reveals why the club didn’t guarantee that there were sufficient number of players that can play the target striker role.

    2)
If the owners refuse to spend any of their own money to recruit players - to prime the pump to move the club forward - then what’s the point of having wealthy owners !?!?!
I agree that the owners should manage the club so it makes money for the owners - but that money should be generated by a combination of investment from money generated by the club itself - but ALSO money invested by the owners.

This interview is a recipe for RELEGATION.

When the facts change I change my mind.

I listened to the interview with an open mind. I have to say it reeks of bullshyte. What a sorry state of affairs. The fans who buy season tickets and matchday tickets deserve so much better. A few straight answers wouldnt go amiss. Instead we get someone who is paid a very good salary passing the buck, playing dumb and simply hiding. Yes, Khaled is being dumped on by the owners and made to face the music but that is his job, take the responsibility and try to re-establish some much needed trust
