We seem to produce great youngsters but it’s been the major failure of the Albion for years - how did we bring the talent (which is clearly) there through to the First XI.
Maybe we would go backwards at first .... but if we could create that conveyor belt of talent coming through it would make the club much more sustainable and eventually produce some decent sides. Problem I guess is that there is always short term pressure to get promoted or stay in the Prem ....so we never take a chance ....
In the long run it might be a better strategy .....
