    O/T Smash That Record

Just been looking at survey from Rolling Stone Magazine in which they asked readers to list 10 of the songs from the 60s that they hated the most. Ive attached a link below.
I have done my own Bottom 10 ( even though i agreed with some of the survey choices)
Not in any particular order, and these are the ones that immediately spring to mind.

1 Morningtown Ride . The Seekers
2 Dominique .. The Singing Nun
    3 The Wedding.. Julie Rogers
    4 Happiness .. Ken Dodd
5 Lovers Of The World Unite . David And Jonathon
6 Snoopy V The Red Baron . The Royal Guardsman
    7 White Horses .. Jackie
8 Cinderella Rockafella .. Esther & Abi Ofarim
    9 Any .. The Batchelors
    10 Shout .. Lulu

Feel free to enter your own 10 , and if any of these choices happens to be one of your favourites, don't be ashamed, just name it, ( them)

I'm not really a 'hater' of anything in particular and of those 10 you list, Morningtown Ride would certainly not be on my hated list. The 60s had lots of instrumentals that I think would be on my list from the likes of The Shadows, Acker Bilk (not Stranger on the Shore) and Percy Faith. Also, although as a youngster I liked them at the time I'd have to put Two Little Boys and Lily The Pink on a list of dislikes.

Hmmm there are quite a few, but:-

My Cherie amour - Stevie Wonder
Obla Dee, Obla dah - Beatles
    Hey Jude - Beatles
    Hang on Sloopy - McCoys
    Mony mony - Tommy James
Ferry Cross the Mersey - Gerry and the hubcap stealers
Anything by Freddie and the Dreamers

Yes, like boxers, just one more fight

He’s not on his own though, currently we’ve got ABBA and Adele being hyped to death

Adele & Ed Sheeran are going to be no. 1 no matter if they deserve it or not. Music needs a kick up the arse it's all too predictable!
