This is the third time we've been drawn to play Sheffield Wednesday in a potential next round FA Cup tie since the war. We would have played them if we'd beaten Sunderland on that infamous night that cost Warnock his job and also as recently as 2017/18 when we were crushed by Swansea City.

I think Ray Trew might have delayed selling to Hardy in 2017 if he was able to get his hands on some cash from a tie at Chelsea, but we lost the replay at Peterborough. We really should have met Eastwood in 2009 but somehow lost to non-league Kettering.

A last 16 meeting with Kidderminster in 1994 sticks out as a near certain path to the Quarter finals had we been able to overcome West Ham (in the days when we had twice won at Upton Park in the previous three years).
