Just looking at Rightmove and saw a house on Avenue Street!

FFS.....doesn’t this sum up local councils and the pension driven dullards they employ?

Is that the best someone can come up with when you consider the vastness of the English vocabulary?

Could a famous local person not have been honoured with a street name or someone who’d done great charitable work?

If I find Street Street I’m going to cut my own throat!

I agree but its the same with some names given to children, albeit they are now older people. John Jones, Robert Roberts and those who just don't think, I once knew an Albert Hall.

Having the surname "Knox" and calling your daughter "Opportunity" isn't a good idea!


I went to school with a curious lad called Bracken Hume Miller O'Hara.........his sister was called "Scarlet".

You couldn't make this stuff up.


The best I've ever seen was on Facebook where a company was called "Mike Hunt Whistles"........just imagine being the receptionist at that place!
