I don’t think Derby have any right of appeal. The administrators were keen to sort it out so they could plan with a degree of certainty from an investment perspective.
Reported - Reading football club, have agreed a six point deduction with the EFL,
after breaching spending rules.
Reading also have a further six points deduction suspended, but will need to comply with
a agreed business plan, for the remainder of this season & next season, to avoid the
additional six points penalty being triggered.
The six points deduction will see Reading, drop from 16th to 19th in the championship.
Championship clubs are not permitted to make losses, of more than £39m over 3 years,
but Reading operated losses for this period went beyond this figure.
[Its been said players wages will have to be looked at, so could this mean Reading will
allow John Swift to leave the club in January.]
[What next Derby County putting in a appeal, because they got docked 9 points, against
Reading's 6 points reduction.]

Taken from the Derby outcome/announcement from the EFL:
''Both decisions are now final and are not subject to any further rights of appeal under EFL Regulations''
I meant the term " Derby County appeal ", has a joke to see what comments I would get,
but you can guarantee the Derby County fans will be in a uproar, with only Reading
getting a 6 point deduction, against Derby's 9 point deduction.![]()

To be fair one thing and it seems there are very few of them in efl”s case…but they have always said there is no set penalty for falling foul of the rules..the range is from a fine up to a points penalty on a sliding scale on each individual case.

6l points deducted and 6 suspended
They need to remember this when they want to throw a full 12 points to the so called lower clubs
......like i said in another post about this, Reading have got away with it. So what's the deterrent for the other "well off" clubs not to try it on???
Teams what break the £39M total over 3 years should know in advance that it would be -12pts, nothing suspended.
