    Dara O’Shea banned!

The FA have banned our illustrious Irish defender for three matches because they have decided that he was a bad boy at Peterborough. The ban comes into effect immediately. Oh yes, Dara is out injured, so what’s the ******* point? If he has transgressed, then reprimand him but to impose a ‘punishment’ that is totally ineffectual seems to me to be a tad stupid. Stupid, that’s the FA, though, isn’t it? Why are so many of sports governing bodies populated by so many knobs?

I didn't realise that with immediate effect actually means this moment in time. I thought that it meant with immediate effect from when he is fit to play. A tad stupid, I think that it is completely stupid!

Quite fortuitous really, best thing that's happened to us for ages. Fairly chuffed with this for an outcome.

Yes, I agree but was just expressing how stupid the FA are!
