    More tech crap

How about the lino’s putting flag up straight away instead of counting to 60 before there’s a serious injury.

Far too much technical interference now for me if this lot is actually brought in and used.

We have seen some brilliant goals cancelled out for the odd elbow, toe nail or eyebrow been offside which is stopping and killing the game.

All clubs are governed by the FA rules so why haven't all leagues got the benefit and use of VAR? Good enough for the Prem then it's good enough for all, or, take it away completeley and give the benefit of the doubt to the attacking side like it use to be.

Like self driving cars, the technology is in its early days and will have teething issues, but the potential of where is WILL get to is immense.

In the next 10-20 years we'll be able to replace referees completely with 100% 'fair' (neutral) AI that will even be able to officiate the very lowest levels of amateur football.

The human referee is heading for extinction, and considering how much we all love to complain about their human error, I think it is a good thing.

I wonder if they've taken the Earth's rotation into account when using this technology because although a player may appear offside to these 10-12 cameras collecting 29 data points from every player 50 times a second, it might be the speed of revolution of the planet that is causing it.

Then there's Ronaldo receiving the ball yards offside but was allowed to carry on.
Won a corner that was allowed to be taken as he hadn't had a shot on goal !
