    Norwich Recall

Reported that Norwich want to recall Hugill from his loan spell

    Altogether now out loud:

Cherio cherio cherio - F UCK OFF!

The irony would be he then becomes a top goalscorer and single handedly saves Norwich from relegation

He'll probably drive up there, miss the turning and end up in Great Yarmouth!

Could we really get this lucky?

No doubt Norwich will sign someone and ruin this opportunity for us.

I actually thought he put himself about a bit v Coventry. Won the ball a couple of times, held the ball up and laid it off.

But overall during his time here, he has been awful.

I agree - thought he did well when he came on at Cov. No doubt he puts a shift in .... but main problem is he is not a goal, threat. And that’s what we really need right now.

Heard this rumour from a mate on my night shift last night who's a Norwich fan. Supposedly going back in January. Can't say he seems very chuffed about it 😄

The problem is that to buy a regular goal scorer you have to pay. They are at a premium and it's not easy to go out and get what is required, especially if your budget is as meagre as ours is and that you are trying to buy in the January window. Our scouting system is not the best either, which doesn't help. Other options are to bring our youngsters through and looking at TGH that might not be a bad idea. There is also the possibility of picking up a 'gem' from the lower leagues but as I say, our scouting system is not the greatest.

There's no doubt that this is what we need but it's easier said than done. However, there's no getting away from the fact that chances missed this season could really make the difference between promotion or not.
