    Youth teams

Both had good results last couple of days.

    U23's beat Watford 2-1.
U18s progessed to next round (4th) of FA Youth Cup, beating West Ham 3-2.

Good for them, hopefully they're all trying to catch Howe's eye.

Going to be great to see them progress over the next few years.

Investment in youth is one of the key areas for our new owners and I can't wait to see players coming through from the Academy and into the first team.

It's been something that has been criminally neglected over the last 14 years (well, a lot longer, if we're honest) and there's nothing to say we can't produce our own versions of the young players coming into the first teams of the big clubs and tearing up the League.

I think the most telling thing is that our very decent young players have all decided htat leaving is the best way to progress in recent years.
