    Manchester United

We are all glad that finally Ashley’s gone and we have proper owners now. I just hope that we don’t end up with a team like that shower of whingeing, moaning, prima donnas, what a set of c...s. I would settle for a team of players who haven’t cost the earth, with good attitudes, but who can play a bit! The Entertainers Mk 2 would do nicely thanks.

I think that sums up what most of us are thinking Tino.

Neville was having a right go at the non-stop whinging, which is ironic because he’s doing it too. LOL.

I actually don’t want to live in the past, dreaming about The Entertainers. I want a ruthless new high-tempo outfit with football played with power, precision and pace.

Having supported Barça through Pep’s tiki-takka tippy-tappy era, it started out as the best football I ever saw in my life and ended up just completing triangles around the edge of a packed box… with cowering teams packing the final third and praying for a mistake to hit on the counter.

We should forge an identity around the power and pace of Bayern of a few years ago. Even Dortmund now have to play at “rock and roll” pace to try to live with it. In full flow, it is frightening and can blow any team away. It suits a deadly #9 and keeps stress off the back line by exerting more energy in midfield. It is imposing and authoritative and when done well, it forces other teams into constant mistakes.

And we don’t need a full team of superstars; just drilled hard work all over the pitch, a little flair in midfield and ruthless finishing.

    Here’s hoping…

Well summed up Trini, if eventually, we could produce them instead of letting them get away then paying extortionate prices to bring them back that would be fantastic.
