6 championship games off and several league 1 and 2 games off for Boxing Day so yep they play by the same rules

My point being that despite the gulf in what systems, money, facilities are available to the two divisions, the Championship teams seem to be more inclined to make sure they can field a team, whereas the PL is full of prima donnas (management and players), for whom the rules and restrictions appear not to apply. Just saying.
