    Crewe Alexandra Post Match Thoughts

On a day when Sunderland, Wigan and Wycombe fans will have steam coming out of their ears, all is calm in the land of RUFC. A routine win, another clean sheet, 2 goals with only 1 shot on target and back to the top of the table. What's not to like? Maybe the behaviour of a small section of our 'fans'?

    Thoughts on today's events?

Could the EFL hit us with some serious sanction for the linesman incident today?

Well if someone’s thrown something at the linesman they want banning. Why do idiots spoil it for the proper fans?

Sorry if I got the title of the thread wrong. From the BBC:-

Rotherham leapfrog both Wigan and Sunderland into top spot with a 2-0 victory away to Doncaster.

One interesting fact I saw. Oxford started today with their goal difference 8 worse than Sunderland and ended the day with it 3 better

Ogbene broke one of their defenders and had the other one sent off.

The pitch was worserer than ours but in a dry state. It didn't lend itself to any real football because of the bounce.

Our 3 central midfielders didn't combine once in the game but made it really difficult for them.

    Other results going our way.

I hope that when the crowd incident is looked into any wrongdoing is identified and the appropriate action is taken.

I thought we started well and should have been 2 or 3 goals up after 20 minutes, then I thought we got sloppy and if they could finish it would have been 1-1 at half-time, we need to remember we are playing a bottom 4 team here. Second half we were professional and Ogbene made the young lad make two drastic challenges that took an even game in our favour. We still haven't scored two goals away from home in a league game since November (second was an own goal) but we did a solid job in the last 20 minutes. I want to thank Wood for showing some class and coming over and speaking to our morons that think throwing things at officials is acceptable, i suspect there is a fine coming our way for that so well done you brain dead idiots. Grigg was awfull and struggles to play an hour, kayode is no where near good enough, I wonder why freddie didn't play, is he leaving before Monday? It is wonderful that we are top of the league, but we really have to improve our performances because we are not playing well we are a lot better than the way we have playing in the league in the last 6 weeks, I am sure the management realise that as well and will do everything they can to add that bit of something extra to get us playing like we were earlier in the season. Good result but not the best performance

Grigg unlucky hitting the bar. Difficult to pick a MOTM as nobody was outstanding. Whoever was responsible for the Assistant Ref incident should be prosecuted and banned. It just gives a family club a bad name.

Ogbene was quiet but did a job on their full backs.

Get the tw@t identified and banned, if I was at the match I’d point him out to the
    Olive no problem
