    Crewe Player Ratings

Wasn't at the match but watched on iFollow, so maybe slightly different from those that were there.

    Holy - 8 Didn't really put a foot wrong
Armer - 8 Seems to get better as the team does, love to see him 'get stuck in' something which seemed to be lacking before Simmo.
Ellis - 7 Very strong performance, just hope the hamstring is not too serious
Huntington - 8 Lead by example, seems to have blown away that terrible performance against Northampton.
Mellish - 8 Its getting to the stage that this lad NEVER has a bad game another wonderful performance
Feeney - 8 Well taken goal, and helped keep the 'back door shut' (not that it was knocked on too many times)
Moxon - 9 MOM for me, seemed to be everywhere, and a lovely little goal to calm the nerves in the second half
Guy - 8.5 Not too far away from Mox to be honest, both of those two controlled the midfield
Gibson - 7 Huffed and puffed all night long looked a bit more interested than on Boxing day
Stretton - 6 Not his position, although did his best to make things happen.
Charters - 7 No nonsense game, getting more comfortable as the weeks roll by.

SUBS: All 6/7 all tried to make things happen, however a special mention must go to Dev for that absolutely cracking 35 yarder, which unfortunately was an inch too high, would probably have been goal of the season.

Agree with virtually all of that Blubry.

Stretton also a 7 for me though. Worked his boll**ks off.

Why does Holy make me nervous though?

On another thread, given the "quality" of the opposition, I gave 7s all round apart from Armer (MoM - 8) and, sadly, Hilton 5. I don't think he will stay into the second half of the reason,.
