    Oxford

Dare I set foot on the train tomorrow and risk another wasted hit on my wallet? Let's face it, last time didn't involve watching us lose!!
Anyway, Oxford won their last game 4-0 away and are the divisions top shot-takers and goalscorers! Whereas.... the Alex..........! A nice statistic that might persuade people to stay away and avoid further inclement weather. So, will it be 'to form' or Oxford's equivalent of Sod's Law?
It doesn't look like the injury list is going to get any shorter so no returns to 'bolster' selection. This means we still have barely 4 available at the back. At the same, with 2 potential wingers (as i suggested for Portsmouth) and the chance to use a much rested Porter, I will again propose that Artell deploy a 4-4-2. The middle 4 has the choice of 2 from Robertson; Lowery and Harper with Agyei and Uwakwe outside them. Whatever, Finney and Ainley cannot be in the starting line up.
So, even allowing for DA to adopt this formation, I cannot see us winning or even getting a point.
    0-3 it is then!

If the forecast is correct looks like the match will definitely go ahead in reasonable conditions. Like I said for Saturday I have a feeling that Ainley will start unfortunately. I think that Plymouth will be well up for it, still a bit of needle carrying over from last season. I see no further than a 0-4 loss, please prove me wrong. Can't see many home supporters being there but will be interesting to see the reaction if we do get overrun. Very pessimistic I know but that's how I feel, I will be there hoping to feel some pride.

I think Oxford will have too much for us tonight, I think we still have some poor players in and around the squad to weaken us further. I don’t think it matters what formation we choose we still can’t defend and we still can’t create not a great place to be in when you have to win games. I like Gazan and MeForCrewe can only see a heavy defeat so 0-5 but 0-3 is more likely but Gazan has bagged that.

My head is saying there is no way we are good enough at the moment to win tonight ...

... but that's boring. We all want us to somehow pull something out-of-the-bag. That is what my heart is telling me, so I am going for an injury time winner after defending resolutely for 90 mins.

It's the "defending resolutely" that frightens me!!

Hmmm I don’t think our defensive unit knows how to defend stoutly or otherwise, we have had some terrible defences at Crewe in the past but this current crop is at an all new level.

Looks like we are going 4-3-3, and Offord has been given the Captain's armband - good decision imo

O'Riordon also getting more first-team minutes under his belt

    Still going for a sneaky 1-0 ...
