MillersMad Matchthread - Shrewsbury v The Millers

As we sit high in the league with breathing space beneath us I recall a post by Scum and what he said to his kids. Enjoy this season as they're so rare or words to that effect and indeed they are!

We could well be promoted before Easter, in fact it could be as Early as the next time we play these in 3 weeks time depending on results! I'm still going for the win against Lincoln being the match that got us over the line but that's just me!

It's hard to sense the feeling and the emotion of the town being so far away but thanks to ifollow I feel as though I'm sat next to like minded folk who cheer at every goal! But you lot have probably finished cheering as us expats start what with a time lag that may be factured in. My wife started a new job recently and was asked which team I supported. Thankfully one of her colleagues did some research outside the Premiership and was impressed. She thinks he's a secret fan now as he mentions the result to her every so often.

It's stupid how many we've scored and our goal difference! If you compare the goal difference between us and Doncaster there is a 82 goal difference and that doesn't include the goals we scored in the Papa John trophy! But as the matches come the number doesn't mount quickly so maybe we need to play Doncaster again .

Enjoy the match boys and girls!

Let's not get carried away guys, we've not played the Shrews yet this season so let's not rule them out.

I don't want to sound too negative but I do like to try and keep my feet firmly on the ground.

Shrewsbury could turn out to be another Fleetwood, who knows?

I'll feel much happier when we get this one out of the way with at least a point added to our total.

    Come on you Millers
