The entire first team squad are simply not good enough

So how does Big Dave deal with his failings ? By effectively blaming somebody else, Kenny creating a new role of player development manager well excuse me, Dave has been telling us that is what they have been doing all season more bull out of Big Daves mouth. The entire first team squad is simply not good enough for League 1 and 90% of them are not good enough for league 2 does anybody else agree with Dave that we are improving ? The rambling of a drowning man I would call it.

On what evidence do you claim that 90% of the team are not good enough for League 2.
    Thought not!

Sadly, Gazan, it is all too easy to say things like 90% of the squad are not good enough for league 2. Fine to say it if it were true. It isn't by a long way. If you look at our defence, BSD, Williams, O'Riordan, Johnson, Lundstrum all look good enough for league 2 by some distance. Not far off being good enough for League 1. The midfield, Finney and Ainley, Griffiths all decent players but have struggled this season for various reasons. Griffiths just breaking into the side and beginning to establish himself, Ainley undoubtedly talented but appears to lack confidence. Finney not really been the same since his leg break. Murphy is the experienced man we need next season with the young players around him. Looking at our forwards, Sambou I would say the jury is still out on. But Long, Porter, Kasket and of course Mandron have shown they will be goo in league 2.
We must recognise that our injuries have been a significant hindrance to our progress this season and coupled with the outgoing players in the summer and the two retirees taking up places in the squad and part of the budget leaving us little time to replace them could not fail to hit us hard.

Guys? The league table does not lie! And proves the thread title, in fairness!

It doesn't. But it doesn't tell the whole story.

Context, MSB. And why should one bad year mean we'll automatically have another one next year? But then, when you have an agenda, why bother with detail?

What agenda would that be then? You spend the whole time criticising other fans on here and yet have rose coloured specs on the current season.. It actually you that doesn't bother with detail as I have just posted re the academy category not making a happeth of difference to who comes here...

I think you are going to be in for a reality check next season it’s all about opinions and only time will tell.

Look forward to it. And MSB show me one post that I have displayed rose-tinted specs about THIS season!
See what I mean about detail!
