Or half a game really, and the number of complaints on other sites and blogs about the players and even Eddie Howe and his tactics

Just shows how far we’ve come - that game would arguably have been written off at the time it was originally due to be played and now we are all pretty much gutted that we didn’t get at least the point we still deserved despite it being the worst performance since the transfer window.

People forget how far we've come.

More pertinently, they forget how far we still have to go. Howe has brought the best out of a limited squad but we're playing on the very edge of what we're capable of and, when it's about small margins ending up making a big difference, it only takes something like, say,4 games in 12 days to make that difference.

Ironically, our impending success (relatively speaking and assuming we avoid relegation) will attract the sort of fans who would complain like that. Comes with the territory.

I think people keep their guard up because relegation is still luming

Two losses takes you down to earth again. We shouldnt have lost any of those games, for different reasons, yet we did.

We shouldnt go down really, but the last few rounds shows things can turn quickly.

Everton was just a really poor performance, especially from our attacking players. Pure shyte.

Chelsea was a good performance, but it was ruined from a horrible ref and sick touch from Havertz.

It will be interesting to see wich team that turns up against spuds. Also what players Howe selects.

To be honest, Viking, I think most folk are very aware that we're still in danger-anyone who thinks we're safe is kidding themselves.

Agreed we were very poor in that second half but, as I've said elsewhere, we were playing the 4th game in 12 days on top of our horrendous injuries.

Spurs? Who knows which Spurs will turn up-but they've got a fantastic manager and some fantastic players so I'd take a point right now.

The problem is that the present squad we have has not got enough strength in depth to carry us through a run of several games in a short period where players need to be rested and rotated and not brought back in from injury too early.

Just wait until after the summer window when every player in the squad will be fighting for and worthy of a first-team place.

Any points against Spurs will be s bonus. For me, the fate of our season hangs on the 3 home games after that. We do not want to be closer than 3 points above 18th coming to the final match against Burnley.

The fact that we almost (should've!) beat Chelsea with players like Krafth on the pitch (all credit to him for stepping up his game lately), that's enough to show how far we've come.

This isn't over yet, we are still in the dog fight, but there's no reason to be pessimistic right now.

Our PPG is still good. I'd write off Spurs but after that, we need 3 wins from 5 winnable games. Our GD is worth another point vs three of the teams below us.

Obviously, the odd draw won't hurt but we need to get our as'ses in gear for them 5 games.
