As I set last weekend's fixtures up, I figured there might be a fairly straightforward dozen points readily available, but you needed to do better than that to make it onto the weekly leaderboard.

Lufcjohn88 (OOEE) and Ozleeds (OEEO) supersized a couple of their correct outcomes into exact scorelines and, in the process, were able to score 18 points out of the available twenty-four. I definitely need to keep my eye on that Oz bloke...

Dalek_Sec (OOOE), Orgoner (OOOE), Silentman (OxEE) and Tichi1 (OxEE) scored 15 points. Small and Quiet didn't seem to fancy Lincoln?

Orgoner and Ozleeds rejoin at the proverbial PL hip, with CherryPie7 and Dalek_Sec seemingly the only others in contention, although a couple of good (or bad) weeks can rapidly change that situation.

There were no draws, so Johnny_Default stays on seventy-five points and any Strike 1, Strike 2 or Strike 3 posters would've scored nowt for their total lack of effort.

    The results

    (L1) Wednesday v Cheltenham (4-1)
    (L1) Shrewsbury v Lincoln (1-0)
    (L2) Oldham v Mansfield (1-2)
    (L2) Orient v Barrow (2-0)

The next fixtures are out as a separate thread.

    All the best! Stay safe!

    Red face

2 right anything can happen not so long ago Cherry lad was flying but like our club fell in a hall but now might pick up and some others. I fear it's far from finished and it's not a yank vs a Greek Kangaroo Battle

Yes, anything can happen in life. Since my father's illness and passing (he passed away almost 6 weeks ago), I have been useless. Realize these things shouldn't be cause and effect but who can say, I know I was very sad for several weeks.

So sorry about that mate as losing both parents close I know what it feels like and still to this day I never think of my problems I keep thinking about them and if there was something I could have done more to have them with me longer.
No matter what they say you just never get over it and just need to live with it and do the best you can. Some people handle it better than others. It's the cycle of life we just don't know when and how it will hit us. Try to move on lad as I'm sure they are looking down on us and would not want us to be suffering in pain. Just think if you have kids do you want them to be going through the same thing? Your Mum I gather and siblings are still around you need to be strong to help them mend also. Take care buddy.
