Barnsley FC to receive massive injection of funds

The Barnsley FC Director Paul Conway has revealed he is the man behind a massive injection of £39 million pounds over the next three years into the club. The £39 million over three years is the maximum allowed under Financial Fair Play Regulations and will be front loaded with £25 million in the first year, then£8 million, then £6million.
Mr Conway said, "I am aware others have taken the financial risk so far but this £39 million is from my own personal wealth and demonstrates my love and commitment towards Barnsley FC. It will progress the development we have seen so far under our ownership".
The funds have to be lodged with the FA by midday today to be valid.

The FA have issued a Statement headed "The Arseoyle" which says--

Reports issued this morning that £39 million was to be lodged by midday with the FA by a Mr Paul Conway of Barnsley FC are entirely false. No such deposit has been made or is expected.

The global finance markets are suggesting the promise of finance to the club is the work of someone known as "The Arseoyle" and was designed to promote upcoming Seasonal Membership Passes at the club. Mr Conway has denied ever paying any of his own money into the club in the past, now, or in the future.

Many a true word said in jest Jules! How many people are going to say to their partners or children “I’m sorry but you can’t spend money on football because the bills have gone up so much” ? Relegation and the cost of living will see a massive drop in our attendances next season!
