    Dot Cotton Is “Brown Bread!”

Actress June Brown has died at 95.

Although I’m not a soap fan I did watch Eastenders in the 80’s and without doubt she’s one of the all time iconic TV characters as Dot.

    A good innings.

A very good innings but she ends up where we will all end up however we live our lives.
It's not about how long you live or being remembered it's the here and now, some people have big headstones so they think people will remember them longer.
We are having pure cremation, no funeral, no dirty vicars, no relatives turning up for the first time in fifty years.
Life is to be enjoyed, we only have one shot at it. I don't want people to remember me, it's all about living day to day.
If I have put a smile on someone's face or made someone feel better then I am happy with that.

So true Des - so true! Why would you take any money with you to sacrifice your luxuries for kids who should stand on their own two feet. I told my late mum to spend every penny on herself as didn’t want to be left a penny! What was left - I gave it away!

You may as well have your ashes put in a canyon to be blasted into the air!

My ashes certainly won’t be on the Hawthorns pitch so those useless t wats can tread on them although no ash would get on those clean shorts!

I am having my ashes scattered somewhere like Kinver Edge or up the Bluebell woods near us. They won't be going to the Hawthorns, I spent too much time there while I was alive.😂
