    Tonight's Games

So although Burch prefers not to be going Sat - Tues - Sat - Tues I have really enjoyed the constant schedule and the Tuesday night games. Getting up to Notts or to the closer away games on the Tuesday nights or listening to Charlie and Stall has been great so tonight feels a bit empty. Despite that, however, tonight could be interesting and an indicator of our comparatively easy run-in when compared to our promotion rivals. With several games to come between those rivals they can't all win and someone is going to be dropping points.

So with D&R and BW in the chasing pack I think we'd definitely prefer D&R to win that one leaving them both 6pts behind us, but D&R played the same games and BW still with 2 in hand.
Halifax v Solihull - if we still have ambitions of 3rd place then I think we need a draw there as I doubt we will catch Wrexham so need to overtake both of these. If we are aiming for 4th / 5th then a Halifax win please.
Recent form suggests Bromley may not be guaranteed maximum points at Kings Lynn - so that would be a bonus.
Wrexham for me are no longer in our sights although any points they drop would be a bonus too.

So I may not be listening to any of the games but will certainly have an eye out for the scores.

    Great post.
Generally agree - but 4th/5th is in our control given our fixtures. The one result to avoid tonight is a Halifax win, hunting them down to overtake them is key to our promotion chances IMO

Halifax and Solihull both rivals for a higher playoff place so I’d say we want a draw there. A Daggers win would be handy too. If King’s Lynn and Barnet could get something that’d be great, but hugely unlikely.

Unbelievable when u see how BWs form has dropped off a cliff, they were top 2 on ppg for months. Agree with all above, obviously Halifax not winning is key. I do wonder about Wrexham, how on earth they let in 5 at home to Dover I will never know, lucky escape and has unfortunately probably given them a kick up the ar5e for the run in.

I think they started to over-believe their own hype of what superstars they are on the world stage and thought they just needed to turn up against Dover. Got the shock of their lives. I hope our management, squad and fans have taken notice (although I only think it is some of our fans that think we are too big for the likes of Dover and winning is a given).

    That would do for me.

I'll be keeping an eye on the NL scores, but tonight I'll also be supporting Forest.....

..... Green Rovers. The thought that the six-fingered brigade could be two divisions above us isn't a pleasant one.

    So that's why they're calling it a 'six-pointer'
