Disagree. He's had an injury that leaves him prone to other injuries. I am afraid he's not reliable.

I wouldn't be letting him leave, if we can add to our squad and then have someone like Forshaw as the option off the bench/back up that would be perfect.

He has experience, knows our fans and knows what we expect I don't want to see all that gone from our team we already lost it with Berardi, Pablo, Alioski, it would be good to keep a core of players who have the right attitude here whilst we grow.

Obviously if we are back in the Championship.....keep, hes more than good enough.

Would keep for say another season. Shown real commitment / passion to battle back to first team action, and has performed ok too. How much this has taken out of him long term is another thing. Midfield certainly needs strengthening, even if Philips stays.

As part of a squad he is good - if he can be consistently fit he will always be pushing for a
    starting spot.

He has certainly helped to hold us together during our ridiculously bad, and extended, injury crisis. Without him, we would arguably be all but relegated by now. We definitely need more midfielders so, unless we can bring in 2 or 3 quality, younger and less injury-prone, players we should probably keep him for another season (subject to a medical assessment obvs).
