    In all honesty ...........

......... how many of you, going into the last game of the season v. Barnsley, and concidering the start to the season that we had, expected us to be pushing for automatic promotion or at least being in the play offs? I know that I did. I certainly didn't expect us to be languishing in mid-table.
What has gone wrong? Well, basically everything; ownership, management, recruitment and players. The only innocent parties have been us, the fans. My worry is that we don't appear to have learnt any lessons. We appear to be carrying on in the same destructive manner and if this continues we will be making the same comments this time next season.

I certainly couldn't see us not making the playoffs even when we were having a sticky patch. It's made worse by the fact I live in the Nottingham area. Roll on next season!

I might be wrong but is this not the first season since 2002 that we have not either been in the Premiership or getting promoted either automatically or involved in the play off mix. Such an anti-climax this season has been.

I have been to a lot of games this season LB including many away games.

Barnsley match - I refuse to go and the ones that do go with no disrespect - are the reason why nothing will ever change at West Brom! Spiritless - no passion - no desire - no fight - no sweat and this for me should be the norm!

Lap of Appreciation - those that stay and clap really do need to get a life after the shocking performances of our players. If I went I would honestly throw a cabbage and boo!

No excuse for what’s gone on and even more shocking Bruce will still be there. Some say he should until there’s a better manager! A pub manager could get a better record than Bruce for the games he’s overseen!!!!

While I never under estimate the championship league.....I did see us either winners or runners up....play offs to me would have been a disappointing outcome......
But just how sub championship we are is now quite stark in the cold light of day.
Bruce will mostly likely sign older experienced players that have nothing to offer but experience....when they are fit.
If I was over optimist...then I'll remain optimistic and say with this group....we should avoid relegation hopefully next season ...

We will be there. We have missed more home matches this season than ever. Entirely due to the changing of fixtures from Saturday afternoons to mid week evenings.
I’m hopeful that there will be improved atmosphere, not least as it our last match. It will be interesting to see what transpires ! Also I’m keen to ascertain what our immediate seating neighbours (left, right and behind) are doing next year. We have all renewed of many years.
However, we will be leaving our beach ball and inflatable water ring at home this year !!

The atmosphere Prando will only improve when supporters see players busting a gut like Luton on a fraction of our player budget and Derby who fought like tigers to stay up. Winning is not everything but if someone in my business did not give 100% they would be sacked immediately! These players are on around 20 grand a week and have given next to no effort.

Bad shout from Gourlay who said on coming in he will listen to the supporters. Ask 100 West Brom supporters if Bruce should stay and you know what the majority verdict will be! Gourlay and Bruce are mates and here lies the problem! Bruce’s record has been shocking and it’s clear Reach and Livermore who are league 1 players will still be top of his thoughts for next season!

So why would even the loyalist of the loyal of supporters ( I count myself as one ) clap these players at the end? To be honest - I think it’s in jolly bad taste they will even do a lap of appreciation,

You can’t blame Lai for everything as effort, fighting for the badge, sweat, determination and passion should be a given. There’s been none of that! Why did Derby play more attractive football than us? Why are Luton in the play offs?

Whoever has recruited players like Zohore - spent 30 million on Grant/Diangana when it should have been 5, given extended contracts to Bartley, Livermore, Robinson and Phillips really needs sectioning!! It’s gross negligence!

I give Bruce 10 games next year before another wasted season! The three teams coming down would blow our current squad apart!

We will be there, in the East Stand for this game as my son has bought us a hospitality package as a birthday present for me! At least the food is supposed to be good! Just hope we sign the season off with a good win.

Forest Green would most likely beat a poor injury ravaged Barnsley!
