Burnley currently taking one on the chin from Villa. I guess the Everton game will be more important, but the fewer points the “others” acquire the better….

Not sure I can endure watching the entire game though as the co-commentator is that gobshyte female “ex player” who can’t keep her trap shut and delights in stating the bleeding obvious with ten times the verbiage required (less is sometimes more).

I still hope it’s because she’s genuinely annoying rather than any bias on my part…

Agree with your " commentators " remarks, without trying to be Sid the ***ist, there is a few, who are extremely loud & excitable, hell bent on using as many footballing phrases, in their 30 second piece. Sadly natural and saying it as it is, it aint.

@Orgoner....I agree....that dreadful woman ruins every game she "commentates" on. All this woke crap is ruining football. Women's football is awful to watch snd listening to her is another way of ruining our game.

Watched a couple of WSL games and never seem to be any male pundits or commentators / doesn’t seem very fair going
back the other way.

Good result - point tomorrow would be immense and Leicester hammering rhe toffees

I don’t think I have a problem with the concept of female commentators/co-commentators, but the one for the Burnley v Villa game had me shouting at the screen for her to just STFU!

The usual studio-based lead presenter here is Rebecca Lowe (a Palace fan, but I’ll forgive her that) and she’s genuinely very good at her job and gets the most out of her guests in the studio without any undue fuss.

Anyway, a good result. Burnley also have to play Villa again.

That said, I’d like to see Everton stay below us…
