I'm no apologist and there will be people using this money to buy booze, fags etc., However, there are some hardworking people out there really struggling in Rotherham and I don't think labelling the place as a dump because a few low life's take the piss is very fair. This will be happening in every town, city in the country!

Tbh the current government make the Thatcher years look like the good old days! I'm surprised there's been no riots tbh.

When was the last time you went to town riley. The pavements are filthy, openly drug dealing on Nottingham street. Romas in gangs of six just hanging about. It’s a dump mate.Yes I know there is hard working people struggling so why do Rotherham council bend over backwards for the low life in Rotherham.

Just go in to Barnsley and see what their council has done to the town centre these last couple of yearsThe town planners in Rotherham are getting paid really good money for doing sod all.Barnsley are light years ahead of us but similar in size and population.They have had a plan and got on with it and a centre that is very smart and vibrant now.Rotherham has a council that is a disgrace and the towns folk deserve a lot lot better.I can't think of another similar sized town with a worse town centre.
