    Ot Sunday dinner

Dropped on today. Red lion in Orby. Just on chance, old style pub, sofas chairs etc. Sunday choice was beef or pork.
That was it. Next minute plate of food was delivered. You got what was on offer. All veg imaginable, Absolutely brilliant. Beer was Bateman.
Thought I had died and gone to heaven.

The rising deer in Laughten en le morthen do brilliant Sunday dinners...
On a downside we've been there twice & both times they've made quite a few mistakes with our orders..
Shame because the food is lovely, but I'll not go back only due to the service.

Sorry to be a pedant but it is in Brampton-en-le-Morthen Not Laughton.

Maybe that's why the service was bad if you was in the wrong village.

Probably youngsters still finding their feet, young lass took our order then young lad came over to double check, they were confusing me 😂
Haven’t been for Sunday roast yet though.

    I agree with Scum 😉

We've been to the Red Lion at Orby quite a few times, different days of the week.
Well recommended meals and very nice ales.... slurp...
