Standing to be allowed through 2022-2023 season.

Premier and Champions clubs can now apply for standing areas to be allowed in the stadia after the trial by some Premier clubs recently.

Brentford, QPR and Wolves will be offering standing areas having been granted the licence to do so.

Are you for or against standing?

My view is I'm not for it. Seating works fine and I can only see unrest and stupid piss heads spoiling it for the rest who wish to stand.

Agree with that, I'm afraid. Some of the nob brigade at New York would have all on standing anyway.

I also agree. Keep it seated. The Piss Heads are bad enough seated. They will be unbearable if they are allowed to stand.

Our ground was designed for sitting down. Enough room between seats. You need terracing for fans standing.

Personally for standing but I understand why many wouldn't be. If you end up with a drunken idiot, it doesn't make much difference if you are sitting or standing next to them IMO. Not sure that is an argument against it. Stand or sit away from them (if possible), if not, you're screwed either way.

I used to stand at Millmoor and thought nothing of it so long as I could find a barrier but different times and different ground design. It's difficult enough now with the morons standing when they should be sitting so maybe if standing is allowed they'll sit down. Seriously, if standing is to be allowed it should only be in areas that have been specifically designed for safe standing ensuring a good view for all and safety measures to discourage surges forward.

I agree, but only if the designated area is behind the bus station
