Lovely weather for it, still on upto now, fluid breaks, people panicking, public transport could be affected but it’s your choice if you venture out there.
Ffs OTT as usual from some, let’s all shut down for day
Why do they go abroad training? Hmm
Get on with it UTMM

Seriously why are they (whoever they are) trying to stop people having a life? Understand some have health issues but it’s like everyone needs to shut down and stay indoors
We do have a brain (well some might be questionable) can make our choices ffs

You answered your question with the 2nd comment. Whilst many are able to manage typical weather conditions in the UK, the current heat wave is not typical so some will not know what to do. Look down the street how many have got curtains and windows open letting in the heat? How many idiots take their dog for a walk without checking temp of the footpath / road?
I don't think they are trying to stop people having a life, if anything they are trying to help people have a life after a couple of days heatwave. That's just 2 days of adjustment to normal.
Some will try to carry on working as normal with no adjustments to their Risk Assessment, they might be fine so think it's not an issue whilst others may suffer from heat exhaustion or worse still heat stroke.
A lot of countries in Europe with temps regularly above 30 degrees Celsius don't work during middle of the day for a reason.
It would have made sense to postpone the friendly until tomorrow.
Also agree FCmiller.Put it back a day. Surely that is not too much to ask. While you shouldn't go over the top about these things if you can take precautions it makes sense to do it. My curtains are shut now, I'm keeping out of the Sun at this time of the day, If I still had my dog I wunt walk him now, I will drink plenty of water..its no big deal. This time tomorrow everything will be back to normal. Common sense for 24 hours ...just see it out...
It's not on in the middle of the day though, it's on at 7pm, when it will certainly be hotter than normal at 91 degrees fahrenheit but it's not dangerous, use sunscreen, put a hat on and drink water. France v Iceland were playing at the NYS yesterday at that time.
People are flying out to Spain, Greece and Turkey to get these temperatures, every Summer.
