    Why do some Dundee fans

Get excited about playing in championship?

I cud just about understand it when all games were at 3pm on a Saturday ....but some seem AHH excited about playing in front of 4000 we QP, Morton and cove.

They seem to like being the primary 7 kids in primary school rather than mixing it in the big playground

    Bizzare

I think this season a lot of the young guys in section 18 will be travelling to new away grounds, mostly places where they will get away with a bit more mischief

Perfectly expressed. Answer must be along the lines of you can only expect to do well in the top league if you have a good management team for both playing and running the club. We have had neither so going down a level to regroup might be a smart move.
Don't think anyone seriously wants to limit our ambition to being Championship top dogs.

Beg to differ......think a healthy minority would like to win that league and refuse promotion....

And you have a better chance of doing well in the top league with blind Bob and daft Dave in charge than you do than not being in it at all.

Big fish small pond mentality among our support.

Couldn't agree more; mental if you ask me. We have had so many struggles getting out of this god forsaken league in the past that I hoped we could have steered clear of it again for far longer. I detest the Championship and hope we get back up first time of asking and consolodate once there.

In a bit of a ****ed off mood but they want cup runs but don't go to cup games ( any excuse) they want the odd result v old firm but don't go ( ruffian old firm fans) they want decent signings in championship when it's a financial black hole

The actual relegation bothers me but the consequences and acceptance of being in that league and for some the joy bothers me even more.

Perhaps Dundee supporters are looking forward to watching us winning games at home this season and scoring goals into the bargain.
