    Tom Lawrence.

Seems set for a move to Rangers.
Probably suit him...playing for a side equipped for Europe against L1 equivalent opposition 70% of the time...should look like a ‘worldie’.

Verdict on his five years as a Ram? One obvious enormous low of which enough has probably been said. Other than that...flattered to deceive. Capable of moments of brilliance and stupidity in equal measure. Good luck to him but I suspect he won’t really be missed and overall...a disappointment imo.

He's been fantastic, his efforts overlooked, and when he's not there we certainly miss him. Any willing staticians are welcome to show me otherwise!
Good move for him, hopefully we get some decent compensation. Are Rangers in the Champions League? If so, why wouldn't he take the opportunity, notwithstanding the financial benefits for his family?

Why would we get compensation, he's out of contract?

Beat me to it, GP. The only ‘compensation’ is we don’t have an alleged weekly outgoing of between £32-£37k.

Having said that, given our residual value amortisation policy he's probably still on the books for £5 million 😄.

Ah, I though he was under contract. In the words of Blackadder, "Bugger".

Apart from this past season, always a luxury we couldn't afford.

Career 54 goals in 291 games (1 every 5.4). Derby 35 in 177 (1 in 5.05). Only hit double figures twice in his career, 11 at Ipswich in 16/17 and 10 for us in 19/20). Last season he finally learnt how to tackle. Previously, just about every attempted tackle was a foul although only about 70% of them were given. Then there's the red mist that sees him regularly or sent off.

    21/22 11 yellow and 2 red
    20/21 1 and 0
    19/20 12 and 1
    18/19 6 and 1
    17/18 6 qnd 0

That's a yellow every 5 games in his 5 seasons at DCFC. Total of 242 fouls in his time at DCFC. A card every 6 fouls.

In the first few years he didn't track back anything like enough, probably because he knew an attempted tackle would be a foul. Closer to realising his potential than Rav but still something of a let down considering the skill he has.

It's all about opinion and some will really rate him others will think meh! I'm in the latter camp. He flatters to deceive IMO.

On his day was superb, scored some absolutely fantastic goals.

Just didn't have enough days in my opinion. That said if he played like he could do every week he would be in the premier league.

    Good stats, MA. Completely agree.

I’d imagine his wages will cover up to five or six additions in L1. They may not have his potential...but maybe we should be looking for something more proven this time round.

Aaaaand. He's gone. Rangers, Glasgow not Queens Park

Thanks for the good days, but when you were bad you were invisible

I intend to place a bet on him getting a red card in his first Old Firm game
