Good draw but, contrary to what some might think, I dont think it'll be too well attended. Falkirk are unlikely to bring the type of support they used to when they were flying and it's not exactly a glamour type tie for our fans. I'll be there though.

At least it won't be selected for TV.

By then if we keep playing decent attacking football and have prices similar to Saturday , we might get 4K at the game which is more than we would’ve got with recent managers in charge

This is a great chance to progress and with a kind draw in the quarters we can maybe make it to Hampden, there would be a decent pay cheque from that, so you’d hope the board would look to get as big a crowd as possible into Falkirk match, maybe something dee4life should be putting to mr Nelms

With Arbroath game being live on the telly.....I'd try and do something round that game......for non season tic holders.

Doubling up games with money off seems to have proven fairly successful in the past.

If we can get past Falkirk there's about a 60% chance of getting a real favourable draw or reasonably big pay day in quarters.....only tic rangers hearts home or away or sheep away would be a bad draw.

Great believer in setting targets.....gives you something to work towards.

A really decent crowd would be between 5 and 5.5 k.....I'm basing this on Falk bringing around 1200.

It should be getting thought about now

Agree. This game should be seen as the gateway to a much bigger payday. Not getting ahead of ourselves but some kind of pressure to beat Falkirk needs to be created. It is not acceptable to fail in this game.

Like this.......for pressure I'd substitute expectation.......but if fans don't turn up for cup games then that expectation/pressure is more difficult to create.

We have a real chance here starting on Saturday to build expectation/momentum.....the supporters bus I go on sold out very quickly for Raith and they probably cuda had another bus........I have always thought dfc have been sluggish to capture that " good vibes feeling' in the past

Gagging to win on Saturday and start the ball rolling.

Maybe it's an opportunity for the supporters clubs to try to boost their own numbers? as you say your usual bus sold out quickly, is there any easy way to boost numbers?
