    Uhura dead

Just been reported Nichelle Nichols has died at 89. Surely a groundbreaking role as Uhura at the time. Remember her saying Martin !utter king told her to go for it. Another star from my youth gone.guess there only shatner Takei and Koenig left. I fancied Nurse chappel as a kid. Gawd I feel old

Scotty was still 'doing it' at 80 plus. Mind ya his missus was 36 years younger, got her pregnant when he was 79 and then his ashes got blasted off into space. You're never too old.

Yes, never too old to die!

Worth noting too, that there are people dying today that have never died before! Unless you believe in reincarnation!

Down here in Cornwall tonight I was watching the horizon and seeing the daylight become not much more than a sliver against the blackness and I thought.......

That pretty much sums up where I am in life now.

The last bit of the daylight before eternal blackness.

Another icon of my youth gone😞
She suffered from dementia later on in her life which was also sadly marred by allegations of her manager taking advantage of this which led to a legal battle over conservatorship.

You're sixty. I'm quietly confident you've got at least another twenty years of moaning to look forward to.

Try savouring sunsets instead of lamenting them as they pass like grains of sand through the hourglass of life.

Your egg's nowhere near boiled yet you miserable git 😊 😉 .
