Weve had months of constant hot sunshine, everything is dying. There has been two episodes of rain of about half an hour in the last months. Rain is coming from the west, it wont reach here theres a cut off point in the midlands and Lincs in the north.

Whats it like up there? I keep an eye on the weather in Naples, and Ely matches that, and has exceeded it for weeks on end. Naples has had more rainfall. Incredible. I saw a brief mention of a water pipeline coming from north to south, is that so.?
