Big statement of intent from the owners

Other players we're in for will be taking notice for sure (i'm thinking James Maddison in particular)

He hasn't reached the numbers of Haaland but he's definitely in that mould. Really exciting signing

    Splendorious.

Not sure I'd mention Haaland in the same sentence but hopefully, Isak and Woodn't can do the business.

I read on Twitter that only Mbappe and Haaland have scored more than Isak since 2019 (although he didn't get many last season)

Haaland is more clinical for sure but they do have some similarities (height, pace, comfortable on the ball etc)

...and Haaland could probably benchpress Isak.

I'm glad that we've signed him because just relying on a striker who is injured more than he is fit would see us in trouble. Problem is that we are back to Woodn't if anything happens to Isak so we'd better wrap him in the proverbial.

If we can't get another striker in i hope we try and sign a goal scoring midfielder (Maddison would be ideal as he almost guarantees goals)

Great signing and a real statement of intent as already mentioned. Quick, skilful, good finisher and plenty of improvement to come. Class time to support NUFC

Yep-or Gallagher on loan...someone who can play between the lines. If we get someone of that ilk in, it would be our best ttransfer window ever, you'd think?

All this on the day the SMBs lost their 'best manager since Allardyce' to Barcelo....no, wait, Stoke.
