Tonight Bury AFC got through to the 4th (final) Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. Technically the original Bury club still exists, the supporters' association seems to control it, though it is not trading.
Perhaps someone could explain in what manner the original club still exists. Presumably it has no assets. It seems that a recent attempt to merge the two entities and play at Gigg Lane failed.
