What an absolutely brilliant player this man is. Can you believe he's 38 next February. He glides over the turf like an agile 18 year old.

He's just scored his 700th club career goal in 943 games, that returns 0.742 per game. What a phenomenal and illustrious career he's had. I'd go as far to say he's been the worlds best ever player and when you think of Pele', Messi, Maradona that's a big shout.

His physical fitness/physique is amazing when you think of his age and the tempo of Premiership football.
