    We only have two options....

On a budget. Its been the same for years now. We either have success and be a dour hard to beat team or we play nice football and get thrashed. The reason I say this is simple. Money. You need big buys to be good enough to play good football and actually win anything (There aren't many Brentfords) Without spending big you have to be hard to beat. I know Forest have spent big and lost the plot, it happens, but if you are clever you spend where you need to in key areas. A striker for us without money is a "has been", a "not tried yet", or a "potential" player, none of which have served us well in recent years. Its a merry go round of switching from being hard to beat and defensive to playing attractive football and losing. No plan, no identity just knee jerk actions and doing the opposite of what went before. We need a totally new set up and a boat load of patience. Unfortunately we have a huge deficit of either.

I agree but with a good tactician as a manager I still think with Ajayi and Dike back there’s enough quality to make the play offs. I like the idea of Corberan.

Yes Fat Ron and Lai are a huge problem but Bruce was a failure. A couple of wins and a good team spirit will breed confidence!

No Livermore - Reach - Phillips - Bartley or Zohorse though - they need moving on quickly as all rubbish!!!!

I agree Al, but none of it even if it goes well for the rest of the season is good enough for the Prem. We cant compete unless we get an owner who gives a stuff.

Correct Boingy and so correct! Let’s say this squad were to be lucky and got promotion - they would be hammered. On the positive side promotion could see an investor and the end of the horrible little China runt!

Any chance of promotion? Still possible with a good manager as look at Forest last year and Huddersfield and their squads weren’t special but managers were!
